S.A. Sistel was founded late 1982, for the investigation, development, production and technical service of power electronic devices and systems.

The company initially manufactured DC motor speed regulators, special relays and OEM electronic boards. This product range together with a professional human team was the basis for our business evolution.

To cover the market demand we became value providing suppliers, complementing our own production with exclusive distribution of recognized international trademarks, being responsible for all the engineering application.

Thanks to our sensibility to detect market trends and solutions, S.A. Sistel grew each year and finally established in the market, giving top quality service and product to our costumers.

In 1990, S.A.Sistel complemented the headquarters with a new electronics automatic production plant with superficial mounting technologies (SMT), which was an alibi to develop our first Automatic test equipments (ATE) to test our own product. This experience was then used to produce turn key ATE solutions for electronic and electromechanical automobile and aeronautical components.

In 1999 we got the ISO 9001 quality certificate (International Organization for Standardization) Nr. 03.01.240331 by BVQI, which assures total quality in our production, engineering and commercial procedures.

As result of our accumulated experiences in elevator drives, automatic programmable controllers, CNC’s and our innovation spirit, we developed the nowadays prestigious SmartLift® household brand in advanced electronics controllers for lifts.
